Making iMovies about States of Matter

Each group planned out which objects they would talk about.  In the video students were to tell what the name of an object, it's state of matter and describe a few properties of it.  For the first time using the program in class, each group did a great job!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Working on our team building and synergy with a St. Patrick's Day game!  We started the day learning about St. Patrick and the history of the holiday.  Did you know St. Patrick wasn't born in Ireland?  He was born in Great Britain over 1,500 years ago.  

Mindfulness through Yoga

Each day we have been working on mindfulness to get us ready to write after lunch and recess.  Today we did some yoga!  The kids did a wonderful job!

Celebrating our Informational Writing

Today the students shared their informational writing with small groups.  The students each selected a topic they are an expert on that included the use of science words like force, motion, gravity and fiction.  The students worked very hard to develop these stories.  What a wonderful group of writers!
